Create your confirmation mail
We have talked about which communication mails are available to use in your event. We also described the functionalities common to most e-mail types.

In this article, we will talk about the confirmation mail.
Everyone would of course like to be sure that he is properly registered. The confirmation mail will be sent immediately once the invitee has registered.
Six very useful features you can do with the confirmation mail:
- You decide whether the mail goes only to the main guest (“Main guest only”) or whether all guests ("All guests") get the confirmation mail. When the extra guests receive the mail, they will see a message at the top that they received the mail because the main guest has registered them.
Tip: the extra guests can unsubscribe, and when doing so they only unsubscribe to the mails from this specific event. If they would unsubscribe by mistake, you could undo their unsubscription by clicking the “i” icon next to their name on the attendee list and subscribe them again by activating the "Mailing" slider. - The invitee can change his registration online – as long as the registration page is open – by using the “Edit or cancel my registration” button that is included by default. Extra guests will not be able to do this.
- With the “Add to agenda” functionality, the invitee puts the event in his or her calendar with fewer no-shows as a result.
- If you have asked additional important questions on the registration page, you could use the "Registration details" functionality. That way the people who registered will see their answers in a separate section. You can also use this functionality in the "Pre-event mail" or "Write new e-mail".
- If you created the 2nd additional page "Information", you can also add this as an extra button in your communication.
