Contacts Lists
With InviteDesk you will have access to an address book that will store your users and also all your contacts that were invited to an event or sent a mail by using a mailing campaign in InviteDesk.
You can find the address book on the left-hand side:
First, you will see "Public lists" and "My lists" at the top. We will talk about the creation of these in other articles.
(Click on the following links to go to these separate articles for more details: “Public lists" and "My lists").
At the bottom, you can find the "Contacts" section which we will also talk about in another article.
(Click on the following link to go to this separate article for more details: “Filters & actions").
In this article, we will talk about the several filters you can apply and which actions you can perform in the "Public lists" and "My lists" sections of the address book.
Filters
- Filter on owner: here you can apply a filter to search for public lists by owner. This is only visible in the "Public lists" section as "My lists" are your own private lists.
- Filter on active/inactive lists: you can filter on lists that are active or lists that are inactive.
Actions
You can do the following actions:
- Search for lists: in this free text field, you can search for a list by typing for example a word that is in the list itself.
- Sorting columns: by clicking a column you can apply sorting for that specific column.
- Edit list: by clicking the pencil icon, you can edit the list including name, owner and list folder.
- Deactivate list: by clicking the icon next to the pencil, you can deactivate the list. This will move the list to the inactive lists.
- Delete list: by clicking the trashcan icon, you can delete the list. This will delete the list completely and will also not be in the inactive lists section.
